Objective
EN105B/ET9105B/ET9135B taps into the invaluable entrepreneurship ecosystem managed by the Nanyang Technopreneurship Center and organized in the form of Entrepreneurship Speaker Series, and the general entrepreneurship ecosystem within Singapore. Students will learn various perspectives into entrepreneurship by attending the speaker series and networking sessions within NTU and beyond. During these sessions students will meet and mingle with venture capitalists, entrepreneurs, business leaders, business angels, government officers, intellectual property lawyers and the like.
Course Objectives:
To learn about the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Singapore; and to meet & mingle with venture capitalists, entrepreneurs, business leaders, business angels, government officers, and intellectual property lawyers.
To explore potential business ideas in forums where like-minded people meet.
To meet potential employers.
To learn of the importance of networking & professionalism.
Students are also required to attend external seminars, workshops, talks or conferences. Please refer to ACE, EDB, SPRING SINGAPORE, NTU, NUS, SMU, Chamber of Commerce (etc.) websites, etc., for entrepreneurship-related seminars. If in doubt as to whether the topic is acceptable, please contact your course coordinator.
